La clemenza di Tito

July 2023 – Debut as Publius

I sang Publius for the first time in Lithuania, with the Opera Accelerator company.
We introduced the opera to an enthusiastic new audience of over 600 in the small town of Biržai.

La traviata

The second LabOpéra Dordogne-Périgord (2023) gave me the opportunity to take on the role of Dr Grenvil.

I was able to refine every aspect of the role:

the musical aspects under the direction of Chloé Meyzié and for the phrasing thanks to the sound advice of the vocal coach, Chloé Elasmar;
the theatrical and visual aspects thanks to the work of our director Gersende Michel and that of the lycée Lomet in Agen on the costumes. A special thanks goes to my barber, Andraws Alqas Patros, for helping me in designing of a Suvarov-style beard (a link, in my eyes, between the Verdian 19th century and Flora’s whimsical, contemporary cabaret, as desired by Gersende Michel).
